Shadow is our 21 year old pasture potato. He was pastured with Quincy and had a date with the auctioneer after Quincy was sold. We couldn’t bear the thought of this sweet boy going to auction and in all likelihood slaughter. He now has a home for the rest of his days with us and will spend this fall teaching my children to ride. He is a black bay and looks to be standardbred. He was used in a handicapped riding program for several years and is a sweet old gentleman.
